Event Details

Time: 10:05 AM – 10:45 AM

Age Group: Kids

Story time for preschoolers is more than just entertainment.  It educates, sparks imagination, enhances communication skills, plays a role in early childhood development, and encourages school-readiness.  Listening to stories introduces preschoolers to literacy and effective communication.  It enhances imagination and creativity, improves cognitive and memory skills, strengthens social and emotional development, and encourages a love for learning, books and reading. Through oral narratives, books, crafts, and interactive activities, story time nurtures preschoolers’ learning and growth.

Kiddos Preschool Story Time features stories, songs, fingerplays, story-themed crafts, and playtime and is developmentally designed for children ages 3-5.  The preschoolers are encouraged to sit as a group in the Story Time Corner with adults and siblings in the nearby area.
