Kiddies Story Time for infants, crawlers, and toddlers is entertaining for the caregiver and child, but is so much more including cognitive benefits such as the development of motor, sensory, and social skills.  Stories being read to the Kiddies introduces them to books and how they work: look at the cover, open, turn pages, close.  Reading and singing is an integral part of language development with words, sounds, rhymes and rhythm. Fingerplays and songs with motions build on motor skills.  And the entire story time experience nurtures social skills. Kiddies Story Time with Ms. Diane takes place in the Children’s Story Room Corner.  Enjoy a short story, songs, fingerplays, and playtime, all developmentally designed for tinies & tots ages birth-23 months.  A responsible adult stays with the child.
